North Sanpete jumped out to an early lead then held off a furious Maple Mountain fourth-quarter rally for the win. Rhett Bird threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in the win. The Golden Eagles scored with less than a minutes left but the Hawks stopped the two-point conversion attempt to preserve the win. KJ Hall rushed for three touchdowns and caught another in the loss.
