Westlake went up by 35 points before allowing three Mountain View touchdowns in the final six minutes of the victory. Quarterback John Ursua accounted for four Thunder touchdowns one rushing and three through the air and directed the team to 462 total yards, while Brandon Aldstadt caught all three of Ursua's touchdown passes. Nick Waitkevich added 169 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries for Westlake, while Mountain View's Brandon Bingham ran for 114 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
