The Cottonwood defense were able to score twice in 28 seconds to pick up the tough win at home against Alta. Anthony Lewis returned a fumbled field goal attempt for a touchdown to tie the game, and Kami Sofele picked off a hail mary for the 52 yard touchdown. Alta attempted three passes inside the 10-yard line before time expired, but all were incomplete.
