Brandon Facemyer scored 21 points, and the Warriors survived a crazy finish to emerge with a first-round playoff win in Liahona's first year of competition in varsity basketball. Brandon Nichols and Matt Feinauer added 20 and 18, respectively, while Tavis Martin and Shawn Dickson each had 18 for Whitehorse.

At the break of the nighcap here at the 1A tournament, we've got a pretty good game on our hands. Both teams have had their moments in the first half, and at the end of it all, Whitehorse leads by four points, 31-27. Shawn Dickson has 13 points to lead Whitehorse, and Brayden Facemyer has 13 to lead Liahona.

The Warriors survive a fantastic finish to post a first-round win in their first appearance in the 1A tournament. Meridian led by nine points before Whitehorse mounted a furious late rally that came up just short.
