The underdog Warriors jumped out to an early lead by making four 3-pointers in the first half and held on to eliminate the Bobcats. Guards Liz Ricks and Amy Harris each scored 15 points to lead Snow Canyon. Sky View's Amy Andrus capped a great high school career with 25 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.

HALFTIMEUnderdog Snow Canyon shot the lights out for much of the first half and lead by eight at the half. The Warriors, who made a shade more than two 3s per game up until today, drained four long balls in the first half. Snow Canyon, despite some disadvantages in strength in size, is winning the hustle plays so far in this game. Sky View fed the ball into its post players for much of the first half, but missed some easy looks. The Bobcats seemed to get their feet under them toward the end of the first half and are certainly capable of coming back and winning. Nicole Hansen kept Sky View in the game with three 3-pointers.

THIRD QUARTERSky View got within five points three times during the third quarter, but couldn't get any closer. The Bobcats lost Nicole Hansen to an injury midway through the third period and hasn't gotten closer than seven since she's been out. Amy Andrus had 11 points in the third for Sky View.Snow Canyon got another balanced effort in the third quarter. Liz Ricks is playing a spectacular game.
