Shad Sommerville buried a short jumper in the paint with one second remaining to lead the Miners to a victory over the Beetdiggers at the Cache Valley Electric Tournament in Logan. Sommerville finished with a team-high 13 points, one of four players who scored in double digits for the Miners with big man Ben Clifford on the bench in foul trouble. In the loss, Kevin Goldsmith scored 25 points to lead Jordan.
