McKenzie Adams scored a pair of goals -- including the game-winner in the 80th minute -- to lift the T-Wolves to their first girls' soccer championship in school history.

6th min -- Katie Parkinson sends a corner kick into the area. In a scramble for the ball Marissa Nimmer comes up with it for the T-Wolves. But she clears it right back to Parkinson and the Laker midfielder blasts a shot from about 30 yards out that is saved by Timpanogos.

9th min -- Nimmer unleashes a rocket up the middle that goes right at GK Britty McGregor. McGregor makes the save to keep it scoreless.

11th min -- Parkinson takes three straight corner kicks. First two are headed back over the end line. Third culminates in a wild shot by Jaiden Thornock into the seats behind the north goal.

17th min -- The Lakers make a beautiful defensive play to stop a good scoring chance from unfolding. Gel Dickson crosses into Nimmer just outside the six. As soon as Nimmer gets the ball, three defenders collapse on her and Abby Ulrich pokes the ball away.

23rd min -- GOAL !!! The T-Wolves chip the ball down the field until it comes to McKenzie Adams just outside the penalty area. Adams blasts a direct shot just up from the semicircle and puts Timpanogos up early.

28th min -- T-Wolves defender Lexi Henrie just prevented a sure equalizer. Thornock had a golden scoring opportunity when she dribbled around the keeper on a 1 vs 1 challenge. Henrie came up and blocked her shot as she turned and tried to fire the ball past the right post. Just incredible.

32nd min -- Dickson gets it to Nimmer on a throw-in and Nimmer lays it back to her. Dickson sends a nice hard shot at the left post, but McGregor is there to make the save.

40th min -- Lakers get one last chance at an equalizer in the final seconds before halftime when Avery Ford takes a direct free kick. Ford swings the ball around the right side of the three man defensive wall toward the middle of the goalmouth. Alexa Anderson grabs the ball on the line to preserve the T-Wolves lead.

Halftime

It has been a pretty even game so far with the difference being a goal dialed in from long distance from McKenzie Adams. Both teams are doing a good job of shutting down the main scoring threats of their opponent. Bonneville is a better second half team, but needs to limit the amount of T-Wolves counterattacks to regain some momentum.

51st min -- Dickson sets up a nice counter attack and lays it off to Adams in the area. But a Laker defender is able to get there and block Adams attempt to create a shot in the upper area.

55th min -- A corner kick by the Lakers sets up a counter attack for the T-Wolves. Dickson looks to have a 1 v 1 challenge for a moment until two defenders collapse on her and Val Buckway pokes the ball away. Clutch defensive play.

63rd min -- Lakers having a tough time producing quality scoring chances. After the defense collapses in on Allie Shaw, she flicks it back to Lexi Grilz and the junior unleashes a rocket that goes high and into the seats.

65th min -- WOW! What a close call for the T-Wolves. Grilz gets the ball off a corner kick about two yards outside the 6-yard box. Grilz blasts it straightaway up the middle and the ball bounces off Anderson's chest on the line and she makes the save for Timpanogos. That's as close as they get.

67th minute -- GOAL !!! Thornock evens it up. She takes the ball on the break and flicks it around the keeper. It deflects off Henrie's leg and clanks off the right post. Thornock races forward and taps the ball past Anderson again into the left corner of the net. The Lakers are back in this one.

73rd min -- Parkinson drops a corner kick into Kami Deeb inside the penalty area. Deeb gets her head on the ball, but it goes high over the crossbar.

75th min -- Thornock latches onto a lead ball and blasts a shot right at the keeper about mid-area. Anderson makes the save. Lakers are controlling possession as we head down the final stretch here.

78th min -- Another close call. Dickson gets off a header for the T-Wolves but McGregor comes through with a timely save.

80th min -- GOAL! Adams gets her second in the 80th minute, slotting it past the GK on the left side. The T-Wolves could be your new state champions.
