Marissa Nimmer notched the go-ahead goal in the 69th minute to help the T-Wolves edge the Red Devils and advance to the 4A title game.

13th minute -- GOAL !!! The T-Wolves are on the board after a defensive mistake by the Red Devils. Timpanogos takes the corner kick and the ball goes off a Springville defender's leg and into the net.

18th minute -- Marissa Nimmer nearly adds to the T-Wolves lead. Nimmer blasts one up the middle with a straightaway look at the net just inside the area. Megan Garn dives down to make the save.

Springville

27th minute -- Kim Stratford knocks a free kick over the defensive wall. But the midfielder can't punch one in for the Red Devils. It goes right into the hands of keeper Alexa Anderson.

29th minute -- Autumn Woods dribbles down the left flank and high kicks it to Lexi Eaton in the middle of the area. Eaton puts a shot on frame up the middle, but Anderson is there for the catch and save.

Halftime

Evenly matched game so far. For a pair of high scoring offenses, an own goal is surprisingly the only score on the board at this point. Plenty of scoring chances on both sides, but some nice saves and nice defensive play is keeping either team from lighting up the scoreboard.

Springville

43rd minute -- GOAL !!! Eaton scores on a breakaway when she cuts through the middle of the area and threads the ball between the keeper and the left post while a pair of defenders are giving chase.

47th minute -- Woods comes achingly close to getting the Red Devils a second goal. She fires off a shot on the left side of the area and tries to curl it past Anderson inside the right post. Anderson makes the save, but not before bobbling the ball for a bit.

50th minute -- Gel Dickson blasts a free kick outside the area over the wall. Garn is in the right spot to snag the ball out of the air for the save.

Springville

63rd minute -- Eaton makes a nice cross to Stratford near the left post after collecting a long ball on the right flank. Stratford tries to slot the ball inside from a few yards up, but it hooks just barely outside of the post.

69th minute -- GOAL !!! Nimmer helps the T-Wolves grab the lead when she sends in a rocket from the right upper corner of the area that finds the back of the net.

73rd minute -- The T-Wolves nearly convert on a corner kick. Nimmer swings the kick into Sierra Johnson. Johnson gets a header out of it, but Garn comes up with the catch for a save.

Springville

75th minute -- Eaton drills a low bouncing shot just outside the area toward the right post. It just barely curls wide of the post as Anderson dives for the ball.

FINAL

Timpanogos finally breaks its semifinal jinx and is in the 4A title game where it will face Bonneville on Friday. The game had an unusual defensive vibe considering it pitted 4A's top two scoring offenses.
