Fourth quarter: Jen Hamson's defense, which included 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots, limited the Eagles' ability to get anywhere near the basket as the Vikings earn the first round win. Hamson also had 11 points, while Natalya Parkes added another 11 points.
Third quarter: Ana Finau and Jen Hamson led the Vikings as they took the lead in the third quarter.
Second Quarter: Katie Walker hit a 3-pointer and then Sarah Spangler was fouled on a 3-point attempt and sunk all three free throws to even the score at 14-14.
First Quarter: Jen Hamsen earned three blocked shots in leading the defensive effort of the Vikings in the first quarter of the first game of the 5A state tournament at Salt Lake Community College.
