The Bryce Valley Mustangs won a double-overtime thriller behind the 23-point, 10-rebound performance from senior Braxton Syrett. Hunter Mecham added 16 points and seven rebounds, while Josiah Brannon finished with 11 points.
The Eagles were led by Kaden Moon, who scored 15 points, had four assists and three steals, while Trent Roberts added 13 points and McKade Nielsen finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
It was an emotional game for both teams as Duchesne said goodbye to head coach Stan Young (39 years) and Bryce Valley dedicated the win to Coach Eric Jessen's son, Jesse, who was killed in a car accident in August.
