Down by as many as nine points in the first half, Sky View rallied back and outscored Mountain Crest 18-10 in the fourth quarter to capture its first state title since 1994. Jalen Moore led the Bobcats with 16 points, while Matt Dewey chipped in with 13 points.
In a very entertaining 4A championship at the Dee Events Center, both teams shot 55 percent, but Mountain Crest struggled from the free throw line making just 4 of 12. Tyler Crosbie scored 21 points in the loss, while Faimafili Laulu-Pututau added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
