Dixie sophomore Kelsey McCann drained a 3-pointer with 3.7 seconds remaining as Dixie stunned Desert Hills for its first girls basketball state championship in school history. Desert Hills beat Dixie twice during the regular season, but the Flyers played great defense and forced the Thunder into 15 turnovers while committing just five of their own. McCann finished with nine points and added four rebounds, while Caroline Lantor added six points and five rebounds.
