Desert Hills played another game of stifling defense in a surprisingly routine victory over region rival Snow Canyon in the 3A semifinals at Weber State. The Thunder held Snow Canyon to just 14 points through the first three quarters and limited it to 18 percent shooting.
Offensively, Blair Bliss had a strong game for Desert Hills with 20 points and five rebounds, while Haley Bodnar chipped in with four points, eight rebounds and nine blocks.
