In the second half of the Region 5 play-in game, Mountain Crest picked up the victory to move on to the playoffs. Sophomore McCayla Hanks came off the bench to lead the Mustangs with 12 points. The Royals' Kaitlyn Hurley scored 11 points and hit three 3-pointers in the loss.
