The third-ranked Vikings did in the 5A championship match what they hadn't been able to do all season - beat Lone Peak.
The Vikings swept top-ranked Davis in the semifinals and then swept the second-ranked Knights for their first title since 2009. Melissa Fuchs led the team's offense with 21 kills.
