The Miners capped a successful showing in San Diego by edging Roosevelt, Calif. in the championship game of the Senator's Division at the San Diego Surf n' Slam. Brandon Morley led the way with 19 points and took home the tournament MVP honors, Jordan Evans had 15 points and was named to the all-tournament team. Bingham outscored Roosevelt 15-8 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win.
