Mitsu Miyashima, Grace Sponaugle and Madeline Morrill all scored goals in the first half as Waterford rolled to the quarterfinal victory over Richfield, which hadn't been shutout all season. Waterford never looked back after Morrill's goal 40 seconds into the match.
