Rich stunned Region 20 co-champion Bryce Valley with a dominant first round performance. Rich led 26-13 at the half and increased the lead to 21 points heading into the fourth quarter. Piute was one of the teams to beat in the 1A playoffs, but not it must turn its attention to the consolation bracket. Rich prevailed despite heading into the playoffs with an 8-11 overall record.
McKay Jarman and Braken Pinter each finished with 15 points to lead the Rebels. Austin Groll his two 3-pointers in the first quarter to set the tone for Rich, which led 14-6 after the first quarter.
