Bingham's bid for a third straight state title came to an end in the quarterfinals as Fremont outscored the Miners 13-0 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory. Bingham dominated Fremont in last year's 5A championship, but the 'Wolves returned the favor. Nick Vigil scored on three touchdown runs, including a a game-winning 80-yard scamper with under two minutes remaining. Vigil ended with 20 carries for 256 yards in the win.
