Jim Farmer | 7:17 p.m. Jan. 16, 2010
My name is Jim Farmer, and I am a native of West Kentucky. In 1992 I had the
pleasure of meeting and working for Roger Mooney on his farm in Vienna, Georgia.
Even then Roger ate , drank, and slept with nothing on his mind except being the
very best at what he does. He is an outstanding announcer, farmer and friend.
This year I called and asked if he could help my lil brother get into bull
riding. Roger stepped up to the plate and entered him in a small rodeo here in
Western Kentucky.... Just another instance of the true character this man has.
Hats off to you Roger for giving me a grub stake back in 92 and for helping my
brother whom you have yet to meet. Excel in all you do! "So long, farewell,
and happy trails"
