Kristen Whittle, girlfriend of Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka reacts at the funeral honoring the 19-year-old at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park near Camp Williams in Bluffdale Saturday. Nemelka joined the Army a little more than a year ago and was preparing to deploy to Iraq. Relatives say he was planning to ask Whittle to marry him in December during a visit home.
