Cold food, warm heart

Marjorie Hurley, 65, stocks a new refrigerator in her apartment at the Multi-Ethnic High Rise in downtown Salt Lake City Wednesday. The refrigerator was a gift from the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, which is donating $4 million in appliances, furniture and hardware to Utah non-profit agencies throughout the state. Groups seeking a share of the 160,000 items available can call 801-212-2444 to receive a non-profit donation request form. Applications will be accepted through April 17.
