West Valley to sell Olympic banners, flags

WEST VALLEY CITY—Olympics and Paralympics banners and flags will be on sale Thursday for two hours.

Beginning at 5 p.m. at City Hall, 3600 S. Constitution Blvd. (2700 West), the public is invited to purchase pole banners, torch relay banners, international flags and West Valley Olympic car flags, which all made up the city's "Look of the Games."

Prices will range from $10 to $100, depending on the size and condition of the banner or flag. Items will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"These items are priced at less than market value, so you know things will sell fast," said Kevin Conde, the city's promotions and events manager.
