Items sought for Oly exhibit
The Utah State Historical Society is starting a 2002 Winter Olympic Games and Paralympics collection, to document the events for future generations.
The society is hoping to get donations from the public, volunteers and businesses. Items sought include volunteer uniforms, costumes, ticket stubs, passes, programs, memorabilia, posters, signs and pins.
The group also hopes a torch runner will donate his uniform, torch and a photograph of him or her with the torch for future exhibits.
The Olympic collection will be used for study as well as for exhibits. To donate items contact Linda Thatcher at 533-3574.
