3 encores planned for 'Light of World'

      Olympic volunteers who wish to see "Light of the World: A Celebration of Life" will have the opportunity to get tickets to encore performances prior to the general public, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced.
      Encores for the entertainment spectacular, which played to sold-out audiences in the Conference Center throughout the Winter Games, will be presented in the Conference Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, and Friday, March 1. A matinee will be offered at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2.
      Church President Gordon B. Hinckley asked that the encore presentations be offered to express appreciation to Salt Lake Organizing Committee volunteers, church volunteers and others in the community who have been busy with Olympic support responsibilities and have not had the opportunity to see the production.
      At 10 a.m. Tuesday, volunteers can purchase tickets at the following locations:

• The Conference Center ticket office, Door 4.
  
• Brigham Young University's Marriott Center ticket office.
  
• The Bountiful Regional Center.
  
• An Ogden chapel at 373 15th Street (near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and 15th Street.)
