      Debbie Dujanovic reports

The answer to housing 5,000 members of the National Guard is what's called, "The National Guard Hotel". News Specialist Debbie Dujanovic reports.

They've converted several buildings in town into temporary living quarters. Five star resorts they are not. But no one's complaining.
At 6 am guard members fill the restaurant at the National Guard Hotel.
"We have bacon, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns..."
But at this hotel, they call the restaurant the mess hall. It's a place to get a hot meal before gearing up.
"I got my flack jacket, my helmet, my weapon, all ready to go to keep the Games safe."
They're heading off for another day on Olympic duty, stationed all along the Wasatch Front.
Specialist Lori Serrano lives in West Jordan, and was called to active duty for the Olympics.
"Meeting a lot of the other members of the service. It's been a lot of fun," she says.
Because she lives so close — Serrano doesn't need to stay at the National Guard Hotel. But most do.
For security reasons we cannot tell you where the hotel is, or even how many troops are staying at the National Guard Hotel.
Even the troops admit it's no five star resort.
Lt. Commander Jamie Morrison says, "We're here on a temporary basis, so we are not going to spruce it all up. We're going to give them the basics and have them go out and do their job."
There is the lounge — a place to kick back, with games to play.
And inside the trailer, a small store to buy the neccessities.
But at 6 am you'll find most of the troops starting the day with breakfast.
Some who just got off duty at 6 am were sleeping.
There are so many troops in Utah for the Olympics that they had to create more than one National Guard Hotel. All of the locations are top-secret.
