Nominate for the Olympic Spirit Award
KSL-TV
One athlete from these games will be presented the Olympic Spirit Award, which recognizes American athletes who have overcome adversity to reach their Olympic goals.
Brian Boitano, co-chair of the selection committee, announced four of the 16 athletes already nominated.
They are:
- Skier Picabo Street
- Snowboarder Chris Klug
- Ice skater Todd Eldredge
- Speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno
