Olympic sound-off question

Question: Have you been downtown? If so, what was it like?

LeAnna Christensen - Salt Lake City
"I was quite impressed. I thought it was going to be time-consuming, but everywhere we went, we had no problems."

Jessie Davis - Salt Lake City
"It was really crowded and traffic sucked. It was only bad right by the (Gateway) mall, though. Everywhere else was deserted."

James Maurer - Holladay
" . . . Too busy. We don't mind going — we just really haven't found time."

Ron Wothuis - Sandy
"I thought it was pretty cool — the energy and all the people, the crowds. It was just electric. It was cool."

Anne Hylton - Salt Lake City
"I haven't been downtown except for performances (for the Cultural Olympiad). I just haven't gotten around to it. . . . Just haven't had the time or energy."

John Holland - Holladay
"It was cool. I had a blast (at Bud World). . . . The lines were really long. And the beer was very expensive — $5 a pop."
