U.S. sweeps men's snowboarding

      PARK CITY, — Ross Powers of the United States won the halfpipe snowboarding gold medal Monday, leading an American sweep.
      Danny Kass won the silver and JJ Thomas won the bronze.
      It was the first U.S. sweep of medals in a Winter Olympics' event since men's figure skating in 1956.
