Austria's Sumann wins men's 10K sprint biathlon

      BREZNO-OSRBLIE, Slovakia — Austria's Christoph Sumann won the men's 10-kilometer sprint biathlon on Friday, collecting his first career World Cup victory.
      Sumann completed the race in 28 minutes and 18.1 seconds, missing no shooting targets.
      Sweden's Henrik Forsberg came in second, just 12.5 seconds after the winner. Forsberg, the husband of world biathlon champion Magdalena Forsberg, also made no shooting mistakes.
      Andriy Deryzemlya of the Ukraine was third, 37.3 seconds behind Sumann, with one missed target.
      The weather was calm Friday, a day after heavy snow and strong winds.
