Utah Olympic Oval facts

      Seven world records in five different events have been set at the oval this year.
      At least one junior world record has been set there.
      Over two competitions, 250 personal best times were recorded and 106 national records were broken and rebroken.
      Skaters there can walk on 43,000 square feet of rubber flooring.
      Nearly 84 miles of electrical wire run through the building.
      The difference in air temperature from ice level to the roof is about 3 to 5 degrees, compared to about 20 degrees at the Calgary Olympic Oval.
      The distance from floor to ceiling measures about 55 feet at the $30 million Kearns oval, 85 feet in Calgary and about 105 feet at the $300 million M-Wave in Nagano, Japan.
