Anasazi State Park facts

      Anasazi State Park: A partly excavated village of early Anasazi Indians, the park features exhibits of tools, dishes and weapons used by those who inhabited this area more than 900 years ago.

      What to do: Museum, self-guided tours, photography and picnicking

      Camping: None. Day-use facility only.

      Lodging: Some in Boulder and near Capitol Reef National Park.

      Entrance fees: $ 5 per vehicle day-use fee.

      Location: Near the town of Boulder, off Scenic Highway 12 in southern Utah.

      Distance from Salt Lake City: 250 miles
