Russia threatened to pull out of the Olympics on Thursday and South Korea said it might boycott the closing ceremony over a string of decisions against their athletes.

Olympic buses
Have you seen all the buses in town? As you can tell, they don't all belong to UTA! To provide transportation to the venues and to and from the numerous Park & Ride lots, SLOC called in buses from all over the country.

SLOC aims to vanish by year end
If all goes as planned, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee will shut its doors forever by the end of the year. Given that the 2002 Winter Games end Sunday, that may seem like an awfully long time to close the books on the $1.3 billion budget.
