   In John Erickson's latest Hank the Cowdog serial story, The Case of the Runaway Windmill, Slim the Cowboy is doing maintenance on the ranch's windmills when he decides to forego the safety of the windmill brake and climbs a windmill tower when there is a storm on the horizon. When the storm moves in quicker than he expected, he is trapped atop the tower. Hank the Cowdog must run back to the ranch for help.

Who will end up with the Valentine candy? How will Slim explain all of this to Viola? Can Hank save the chocolate and preserve Slim?s reputation?
