Reader comments: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Ha! This review had a much longer comment thread a few days ago. It must have been "misplaced." (Far be it from me to throw out the "c" word.) In it Jeff was excoriated for his Imperial Forces/Rebel Alliance gaffe. The fully took away his geek card for that one. I must admit, I suggested that his mix-up on the trilogy timelines may have indicated he didn't see the film, but another poster assured us he had. I queried whether his poor review was a result of his disappointment at seeing no Han Solo in the film. I took my 3 young sons. They fully enjoyed it. And I enjoyed them enjoying it. Fun movie, if you don't go into it expecting "Empire Strikes Back." (BTW, that's Episode V, Jeff. It's in the original trilogy.) Ha!

Imperial forces? Rebel alliance? was this movie (and other prequels) so bad that Jeff can't keep up with what the sides are. It's the republic clone troopers vs the Separatists. I also agree with the other comment, the first cartoon network clone wars series was great.

Man this was so much worse then I thought it would be. I thought it would be like the clone wars cartoon series on cartoon network, which was really good. This might be a good rental movie if you're curious but not worth seeing in theatres
