Reader comments: The Majestic
EMILY AKA: JACK | Aug. 14, 2007
Hey! This movie wasn't bad at all! It was kind of funny
and new to see Jim Carrey in a serious movie, but he played
the part perfectly! The rest of the cast was really good
too!

Jim Carry is a geek. And I normally can't stand watching
him, but this was a good movie. It wasn't his usual - act
like a dork for an hour and a half - movies. I liked it

The dialogue was crude and the physical violence was not
appropriate for small children.
The acting was terrible and the admission was way too high.

This was one of the best, and cleanest movies i have seen
in a long time. Jim Carey did a great job at playing the
part. Definitely a new "look" for him. This is definitely
one i will see again.

This was a good movie. If you want to blast something, then
go rip "Vanilla Sky"--that was a strange one. The Majestic
didn't have an odd ball ending.

It is so refreshing to leave a movie feeling better than
when you went in and this was true for The Majestic. Jim
Carey was excellent in this different role for him. My
husband and I do not go to many movies because of
the "objectional material" that is so prevalent but this
one was a winner for us.

It was quite refreshing to watch. I enjoyed it very much.
It is fun to see Jim act serious (as is Robin Williams).
The story flowed just right for me and I loved it.
