The Parent Trap
Whether you like the movie or not, you will love the
delightful performance. In the story, the twins, Hallie
Parker and Annie James, both played by Lindsay Lohan in a
seamless bit of Disney magic, they are going to a same camp.
Hallie lives with her dad, Annie lives with her mother
Elizabeth, who is a wedding dress designer.
The girls do not know they are twins and never see each
other before. they don't see their other parent also.
After facing at the camp, they are shocked to see each
other's face.They are look alike.But not related.they
beginto play jokes on each other.
The organizasers put they in a room. They talk with each
other, and found that ,they have lots of common habit. Then
they talk and show pictures for each other, and realize that
they are twins.
So they smath their place,Hallie went to live with her
mom,and Annie go to live with her father, her father has a
girl friend, they are going to marry
How can the two girl fight for it .
They adviced their parents to have a camping. But their
mother didn't go .So the twins make a lot of jokes on her
father's girl friend. At last ,they are successful, the girl
go.
With their hard working, their parents go together again. And
they are all happy to rebuild their wonderful family.

Great movie! I thought this was better than the original.
DANIEL M. WOODRUFF | Dec. 16, 1998
I thought it was much funnier than the 1961 original! Disney
did a fantastic job on it. Great for the whole family.

The reviewer from Deseret News is a little too critical. The Parent Trap is not only excellent family fare, It is a wholesome film besides. These qualities are all too rare these days. In addition, I certainly did NOT find the film too long. I think that Deseret's film critic is still complaining that "The Great Train Robbery" is loo long (12 minutes).

My wife and I and three of my kids (ages 4-10) recently
viewed The Parent Trap, and we all enjoyed it. Disney has
ruined many of its remakes -- I especially disliked Flubber
and its modern vulgar gags. This remake is probably better
than the original. It had humor, relationships that seemed
plausible and even brought tears to this guy. The kids came
home and can't seem to stop pretending to be the twins,
Hallie and Annie. Dennis Quaid and the girl who played the
twins were great, along with the rest of the cast. If you
want a good time, see this movie.

I thought this movie was very well
made. Acrors Dennis Quaid and
Natasha Richardson did a great job. It
was very funny and at the same time
romantic! This is a great show for
parents and older children. The one
thing that makes it less desirable to
see is the vulgarity-which is totally
pointless. (not just in this movie but in
all) I give The Parent trap 4 stars!!

What a refreshingly entertaining movie! I attended with my
eleven-year old son, my 19-year-old daughter, and my 22-
year-old daughter and her husband. All of is simply
enjoyed it! I especially loved the references to the
original "Parent Trap" movie. The nostalgic connection
combined delightfully well with new material.

I loved it! It was so refreshing and fun; it even made me
cry. Finally a film that is great for parents and children
alike.
ANGIE HALL | Aug. 7, 1998
I thought this movie was great. It was so funny and Lindsay did such a great job! Does anyone know her e-mail address? I also thought that the director, Nancy Myers did a better job than the other remakes in the past!! Thanks
