This film started out pretty good but the ending is so jerky & contrived they this had to have a happy ending where everyone will go on with thire life I mean all the other plot twist were great & suspenful but the ending leaves way to much to be desired and for a teen film this was pretty good performances especially the girl Lena whatever her last name was anyway I wanted this film to be so good but it's only OK.

A few months ago, when I condemned the obscene movie "Apt Pupil", I said that I would be boycotting the X-Men movie because of that repugnant crime that Bryan Singer and his 2nd unit directors committed behind the scenes on the set of Apt Pupil(and if I'm smart, I'll also boycott movies involving Errol Flynn, Roman Polanski and O.J Simpson). And now, after seeing this preposterous junk, I think I'll be boycotting the X-Men movie because of Marsden as well. His performance was particularly atrocious, and even if his "character" was meant to be unlikable, it made little difference(and if he's so wretched in this clinker, who knows what his acting will be like in the X-Men movie? Shudder...). And the whole story was perfectly awful(don't ask why I bothered seeing it, an episode of CHiPs on TV would have been more entertaining). As an example of how nonsensical the proceedings here are, when Headey gets upset at Marsden for how uncaring he acts when Jackson gets arrested for supposed date rape, she has sex with him on the kitchen table! Stupid. It's also another example of how some recent movies have been showing characters being rewarded when they don't deserve it. The movie's flip treatment of rape is also very offensive, much more than what the New York Post may have thought. Let me also point out that practically all of the script's "surprises" can be outguessed very easily. Like Body Shots, this film is also an insult to GenXers, and it should be avoided at all costs, escpecially by women. (P.S: Speaking of Bryan Singer, I have quite an idea on how to attack him for those sins he committed when making Apt Pupil. If so, then wait'll you see it, the way I'm going to condemn him next month is going to be very interesting.)
