Stories about athletes, sex and crime show up on sports pages and in sports shows. But athletes and religion? Not so much.
It's tied by its name and air date to Super Bowl Sunday, but the Catholic "Faith Bowl" being broadcast nationwide has no link to football, unless you count talk about the saints.
An Oregon couple who practice faith healing testified they did everything they could for their 16-year-old son before he died, but a jury decided it was not enough, especially just months after the death of their granddaughter.
