Ingredients
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 ounce minced ginger
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried chile flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup plum preserves
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer until thickened stirring often approximately 5-6 minutes. Serve in a small bowl.
