Traditional English Tea Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons shortening
3/4 cup milk


Directions

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add milk. Roll and pat out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter and place on greased pan. Bake 10 minutes at 500 degrees.
