Barbecued Ribs (frozen foods)

Ingredients

8 pounds boneless pork ribs
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup chopped red or green pepper
1 cup water
1 16-ounce bottle favorite barbecue sauce (KC Masterpiece recommended)


Directions

Place ribs, onion, garlic, pepper and water in a large slow-cooker on high (or in a large pot on the stove on medium-low heat). Cover with a lid and allow to cook 4-5 hours, or until meat is tender. Place meat on an outdoor grill over medium heat, and cook until the outside is crisped with grill marks (about 5-10 minutes per side). Remove from the grill and smother with barbecue sauce. Serve, or package in freezer bags or containers. Makes two meals for six people, three meals for four people or six meals for two people.

To reheat, thaw in microwave, then place in a covered casserole dish and heat through.
