Branana Muffins

Ingredients

1 cup Kellogg's All-Bran cereal (or another bran cereal)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup thinly sliced, ripe bananas
1/4 cup softened shortening
1 egg
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar


Directions

In medium mixing bowl, combine cereal, milk and bananas; let stand until cereal is softened. Add shortening and egg; beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in small mixing bowl. Add to first mixture, stirring only until combined. Fill 10 greased muffin pans 2/3 full.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 10 muffins.
