Mormon Soda Biscuits

Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons shortening
2 cups sour milk
Directions
Sift together the flour, salt, sugar and soda. Cut in shortening using two knives or fingers. Slowly add milk until a soft dough is formed. Roll out on a floured board; cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 1 dozen biscuits.
Each serving contains 154 calories; 5 gm fat; 270 mg sodium; 6 mg cholesterol.
