Herbed Gruyere Potatoes

Ingredients
Preparation time: 35 minutes
Yield: 6-8 servings
4 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup half and half
1 1/2 cups (3 oz.) Gruyere cheese
3 tablespoons fresh chives, coarsely chopped
Dash of nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Scrub potatoes but do not peel; cut in quarters. Boil potatoes until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and coarsely mash potatoes with butter, half and half, 1 1/4 cups cheese, chives and nutmeg. Season to taste. Spread potatoes in buttered 8-by-10-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until heated through.
Each serving contains 173 calories; 9 gm fat; 226 mg sodium; 30 mg cholesterol.
