3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 1/4 cups prepared spaghetti sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 small green pepper, thinly sliced into rings

Yield: 6 servings
Prep time: 30 minutes
Baking: 30 minutes

Directions

Have oven heating to 350 degrees. Combine cooked pasta, 1/2 cup Parmesan and butter or olive oil; toss. Press into a greased or oil-sprayed 9-inch pie plate or a 9-inch baking dish. Top with half the mozzarella.

Brown ground beef and drain. Add spaghetti sauce and oregano; mix well. Spoon meat mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Return to oven just to melt cheese. Garnish with green pepper rings.
