Apple Snow with Fresh Berries

Ingredients
4 egg whites, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
3 cups applesauce (preferably homemade)
Fresh berries of choice
Directions
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff, shiny peaks form. Beat in apple sauce, 1/2 cup at a time. Continue beating until snow holds its shape when dropped from a spoon. Spoon into dessert dishes and sprinkle fresh berries. Makes 6 servings.
Each serving contains 80 calories; 0 gm fat; 39 mg sodium; 0 mg cholesterol.
