Mango Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
1 mangoes, peeled, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 3/4 cups ketchup
1 1/4 cups honey
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon chile powder
1/4 cup diced onion
2 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
4 tablespoons chipotle peppers (available canned)
1 alapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro
Directions
Combine all ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Cool and puree in blender. Save some to serve on the side with meat. Brush remainder on meat during last 20 minutes of cooking.
