Ingredients
Yield: 6 servings.
4 tablespoons melted margarine
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
4 well-beaten egg yolks
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 dashes pepper
1 pound trout, flaked
4 stiffly beaten egg whites
Directions
Make white sauce of margarine, flour and milk. Slowly add small amount of sauce to egg yolks. Stir into remaining sauce. Add salt, nutmeg, pepper and trout. Fold in egg whites. Bake in greased casserole dish at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
