Karol Beard's Pie Crust

Ingredients

3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 beaten egg
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup milk


Directions

Cut shortening into dry ingredients, add egg, then mix in milk. Roll out dough and fill as desired. For pie shells, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. For filled 2-crust pies, bake 40-45 minutes at 375 degrees.
